Our support

We are here for everyone between the age of 12–30 who have experienced sexual violence. We're also here for you if you are a relative, friend, or colleague of someone who has been affected.

Our support is free of charge, and we have a confidentiality pledge. What you want to share with us stays between us and there are several ways to receive support from us.

When we talk about sexual violence, we refer to any sexual acts that someone subjects you to without your consent. You can read more about sexual violence further down on this page.

Support hotline and email

We have a support hotline that you can call for assistance, help or advice. The hotline is open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 14:00–16:00. You can also send a text message to our support hotline if you want to schedule a phone call with us.

Support groups

We offer various support groups where everyone between the ages of 15–30, who have experienced sexual violence, can meet others with similar experiences. Our support groups are led by two employees within our association who have expertise in sexual violence, trauma, and support techniques.

In our support groups, we create a community where mutual support and strength are provided. In a support group, you can share as much as you feel comfortable with. Our support groups are held in Swedish.

What is sexual violence?

Sexual violence is all circumstances where someone subjects you to a sexual act without having your consent.

Here are some examples of sexual violence:

  • Harassment

  • Humiliation

  • Sexual assault

  • Rape

Sexual violence can also involve being forced to witness sexual acts or pornography against your will. Being photographed or filmed without consent in a sexual situation or for sexual purposes is also a form of sexual violence. This applies even in situations where you are incapable of giving consent, such as when you are sleeping, intoxicated, paralyzed by fear, or when you comply to avoid worse violence.

If someone threatens or in any way forces you into a sexual activity of any kind, it is sexual violence.

What other people have said about our support groups

The support group has given me a sense of security within myself. It’s been a confirmation of what I’ve been through and how I’ve fought to move forward in life.
It felt like once a week, something truly happens within me, in my thoughts.
I feel less alone now and have gained more knowledge about violence and how it works. I have also a bigger understanding for the legal process.
I started to feel that I’m not crazy. I’m normal. I have been through something that others also have and together we are stronger.
